Our luminaires are used in the harshest environments, so they are designed to require very little maintenance. We have been setting the standard for sustainability in our products for 40 years and this new range continues this trend.<\/p>\n<p>The STRONGEx G2 offers exceptional resistance to harsh environmental conditions, is available with options for<strong> Ex <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zalux.com\/strongex1-g2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zone 1<\/a><strong> or<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zalux.com\/strongex2-g2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Zone 2<\/a><strong> installation<\/strong> and is an ideal solution for applications <strong>across the oil &amp; gas, chemical, petrochemical, and energy sectors<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In line with other products within the STRONGEX range, the STRONGEx G2 is designed to promote sustainability with <strong>low energy consumption<\/strong>, <strong>extended lifecycle, <\/strong><strong>low maintenance overheads, and a recyclable PMMA profile<\/strong>. The G2 model further incorporates an openable to enable access for maintenance, easy change of the emergency battery, increased flexibility for installation, and even though the luminaire offers an exceptional 100,000-hour lifetime, the ability to replace internal components to further extend life and <strong>promote a circular economy<\/strong>. The unit\u2019s superb energy efficiency and lifetime can be further enhanced the availability of DALI dimmable versions and optional emergency kit. A wireless control version is also available for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zalux.com\/strongex2-g2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ex Zone 2 model<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A high-quality plastic housing protects the luminaire from <strong>even extreme weather conditions<\/strong>, including corrosive salty environments, and provides high resistance to chemicals that may be present. The unit has no external aluminium parts, further promoting its resistance to corrosion, and can work in <strong>temperatures from -36<\/strong><strong>\u00b0C to +55\u00b0<\/strong><strong>C<\/strong>. Its profile incorporates a heatsink with fins that helps improve heat dissipation within the luminaire and ensure excellent performance throughout its lifetime.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Designed for flexible application and installation, the STRONGEx G2 is available in<strong> lengths from 300 to 1,500mm<\/strong> with high-efficiency <strong>luminous flux from 2,000 to 12,0000<\/strong>. The design enables better illumination from greater heights with fewer light points. Optics can also be fitted to adapt to the specific needs of each space. The luminaire offers four cable entries, two on each side of the unit, to enable through wiring on the same or opposite sides of the fitting.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Ex Zone 1 option incorporates an ATEX certified driver and module with<strong> gland and connector<\/strong>. The ATEX connector can accommodate up to eight wired of up to 4mm2 for the connection of three lines, DALI, emergency signal, etc. <strong>M<\/strong><strong>ounting accessories use<\/strong><strong> 301 stainless<\/strong> steel and, for areas exposed to chemicals, fixing clips and locking screws can also be provided in 301 stainless steel<strong> to increase resistance to corrosion<\/strong>. A variety of mounting options, including pole mounting, are available to ensure versatility and ease of installation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, the STRONGEX range offers plant operators ultimate performance in terms of efficiency, longevity, reliability, and flexibility with models offering significant savings and quick return on investment compared with traditional lighting solutions.
